Upload product catalog data

In a product catalog, each product is identified by its SKU ID and name. Products are the core entities in your catalog and can include data that supports discovery, targeting, and measurement. Here's what you need to know about uploading product data:

• Product data can belong to multiple parent categories.
• Product attributes, such as their name, SKU ID, and description, are displayed in the UI and used for search and filtering.
• The SKU ID is the unique identifier used to retrieve, update, and delete product data, and to associate products with advertisers.

Choose how product data gets into your catalog.

NOTE: If you are a location data provider, see Product catalog for location data providers. Location-based catalogs use the SKU ID, product name, brand, description, and category fields to represent locations and geographic groups.
