DCO creative variant reporting
NOTE: This guide is intended for Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO) vendors who intend to participate in creative variant reporting in The Trade Desk platform.
DCO common creative variant reporting (CCVR) gives users of The Trade Desk platform insights into the cost and conversion metrics associated with each unique combination of dynamic creative elements placed as part of a DCO campaign.
Setup
To begin participating in CCVR as a DCO vendor, complete the following steps:
Work with your Partnerships team at The Trade Desk to establish a data pipeline destination for your CSV files, such as an Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) bucket.
Configure a data export that meets the following requirements:
- The export consists of impression-level data in CSV format.
- Map your data headers to The Trade Desk data field names. Use only The Trade Desk headers in your CSV file.
NOTE: The specific method of data compilation and export is left to you.
CCVR workflow
The following table describes the actions required to begin CCVR reporting for a given campaign.

| Client | At least 10 days before campaign start, provide campaign and advertiser details to account management teams at The Trade Desk and DCO vendor. |
| DCO Vendor | Using the client-provided details, configure a daily impression-level CSV export and send to the agreed-upon data pipeline destination. |
| The Trade Desk | Ingest and compile the data into a self-serve report available in The Trade Desk UI to authorized users. For details, see Creative variant reporting in the Knowledge Portal. |
CCVR data fields
Use the following table to map your data headers to the data headers required by The Trade Desk.
