Daily reports via direct upload
To remain compliant with data security laws and regulations and be able to address any issue you might experience efficiently, The Trade Desk requires that daily reports from supply partners be submitted via uploads to a designated Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) bucket folder.
To get started, you must have your S3 bucket folder set up and then use the provided Excel report template to facilitate the uploading process and the subsequent validation and processing of your data.
Initial setup requirements
To set up your access to the designated S3 bucket for daily reports, be sure to communicate the following information to your Technical Account Manager in response to their email:
The time when you anticipate being ready to upload reports.
After you provide the required information, your Technical Account Manager will do the following:
- Create a designated folder
/{SUPPLYPARTNERNAME}/in thethetradedesk-openpath-supply-vendor-reportingS3 bucket where you will upload your reports. - Set up your S3 access and send you a one-time link for you to access your file path in The Trade Desk S3 bucket.
- Communicate to you the actual folder name and any other appropriate details.
- Test your setup and access to the folder.
- Review and validate your first upload delivery to ensure the correct usage of the report template.
Upload a report
After you have completed your S3 bucket folder setup, you can upload your daily reports.
To upload a daily report to The Trade Desk, complete the following steps:
- Download the report template.
- Fill out the template with the data for the last 31 days. For details, see Report template guidelines and requirements.
- Save the Excel file, using the following file naming syntax:
{YYYY-MM-DD}_daily-report_{SUPPLYPARTNERNAME}_{HH-MM-SS}. For example,2022-08-13_daily-report_meredith_21-45-23. For details, see Report template guidelines and requirements. - In the AWS Console, navigate to your designated folder in following S3 bucket:
thetradedesk-openpath-supply-vendor-reporting/{SUPPLYPARTNERNAME}/. - Upload your completed daily report file.
